The image depicts Pedro Serrano, a Spanish captain who survived a shipwreck in 1526, being castaway on a inhospitable sandbank in the Caribbean sea. For long 8 years, he managed to survive eating just birds and seafood, drinking their blood, until he was finally rescued by a galleon and taken back to Spain. This is my particular version of that man, the king of castaways. Painted for fun in Photoshop, mixing brush strokes with little texture details. Hope you guys enjoy
